$250 Sign On - Licensed Electrician

Job Description Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (depending on electrical experience)**Eligible for Sign On Bonus after 250 hours worked** Job description:We are hiring a Virginia LICENSED Electrician for a large commercial project starting in a few weeks (mid May/early June). This will be a temp to perm position (6 year project). Must be willing to travel to Sterling, VA and Ashburn, VA. Overtime and per diem may be available.Pay rate is based on electrical experience. Review the information below before responding to this ad.Duties include but not limited to:Experience working with 110-480v single and three phase systemsMeasuring, cutting, bending, threading, and running 1/2" 3/4" & 1" conduit (EMT, Rigid, and PVC).Terminating, running, installation of MCWire-pulls.Reading Blueprints.Operating large pipe bending tools, both hydraulic or mechanical bendersConnect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other componentsTrace out short circuits in wiring, using test meterTrim-outs (Install receptacles, switches and other devices)Repair or replace wiring, equipment and fixturesHang and wire light fixturesDrill holes and pull wire/cable through walls and ceilingsExamine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connectionsDisassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipmentStrip insulation from wire ends, connect couplings, fabricate and secure conduit support bracketsTransport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies on job site by hand or hand truckTerminate circuits, breakers, bus bars, panels and sub-panelsOperate scissor lifts Essential Job RequirementsMust have your electrical license for the state of Virginia.Must have OSHA10 or OSHA30Must be able to pass a drug screen before starting work.Must be able to pass background checkStandard Electrical ToolsStandard PPEReliable TransportationVerifiable work history Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurance Work Location: In personWe consider applicants for all positions without regard for race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
