Warehouse Worker
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team at AutoForce in Lewiston, ME. This position involves managing the flow of tires and automotive components within a high-speed distribution center, utilizing specialized machinery like pickers and forklifts.
Operational Details
Your daily tasks will include utilizing scanning technology to accurately locate and store inventory. You will be expected to maintain physical activity throughout the day, including standing for long durations and working overtime when the business requires it. We prioritize a secure workplace, and you will play a key role in upholding our safety standards and operational protocols.
Physical Requirements
This role requires consistent lifting of 50 pounds, with occasional requirements to handle up to 80 pounds. For heavier commercial tires, you will utilize mechanical aids or team-lifting techniques. You must be prepared to exert up to 40 pounds of force when moving industrial tires or barrels. Additionally, you must feel comfortable operating machinery at heights of up to 25 feet.
Additional Responsibilities
You may be cross-trained to support various areas such as inventory management, ecommerce, or will-call services based on operational demands.
