Role Overview We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lewiston, ME, focusing on the handling of tires and automotive components. In this role, you will manage the loading, unloading, and stocking of inventory within a high-speed warehouse setting, utilizing specialized machinery like forklifts and order pickers. Operational Duties Your daily tasks involve using scanning technology to locate and organize stock, while also supporting inventory management. You will be required to handle items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional requirements to lift up to 80 pounds; for heavier commercial tires, you will utilize mechanical aids or team-lifting techniques. When moving industrial or agricultural tires and barrels, you must be capable of applying up to 40 pounds of pushing force. Because some storage racks reach heights of 25 feet, you must feel secure operating equipment at these elevations. This is an active position that requires standing for long durations and the flexibility to work overtime when necessary. You will help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all established safety protocols. Additionally, you may provide support to the ecommerce, inventory, or will-call departments based on operational requirements.
