Director of Flight School Academics

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned professional to take the helm of our Academics Department in Deer Valley, AZ. In the role of Head of Academics, you will oversee the comprehensive operations of Ground School, PACE, and the Learning Center, guaranteeing the highest quality of education for our students. Responsibilities: Develop and implement key strategies to enhance the standardization, quality, and productivity of the Academics Department Collaborate with the Chief Ground Instructor and Chief Flight Instructor to develop and revise course content and curriculum Ensure all classes are staffed with qualified instructors meeting regulatory standards Lead the development and maintenance of curriculum and testing standards Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred Current CFI/CFII/MEI or AGI/IGI Certificate preferred Practical leadership experience Operational knowledge of flight school operations is advantageous Proficiency in MS Office and Windows Excellent communication skills Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, with some exposure to flight simulators and equipment Must be detail-oriented, innovative, and able to work independently This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) packages.
