Privately HeldAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Head of Compliance to spearhead the development and management of its regulatory and bank-partner compliance program. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing the company's compliance strategy, establishing essential controls, and serving as the key compliance representative in areas such as product development, risk oversight, and partner expectations. This role involves designing a comprehensive compliance framework that encompasses AML, sanctions, fair lending, privacy, servicing, vendor oversight, and complaints. The Head of Compliance will also play a pivotal role in guiding new product launches and ensuring the company maintains a robust regulatory posture.Applicants for the Head of Compliance position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of compliance experience in fintech, banking, or similar regulated industries. Strong expertise in AML and sanctions obligations, including onboarding, monitoring, and escalation, is essential. The role requires the ability to design scalable compliance programs in dynamic or early-stage environments and to have a proven track record of collaborating with or managing sponsor bank relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to translate regulations for diverse teams, and experience in creating policies, conducting risk assessments, and supporting audits. Familiarity with fair lending, marketing standards, servicing, vendor risk, and complaint handling is also necessary, as is experience in data privacy and information security compliance. Professional certifications in relevant areas are a plus.Travel Percent
