Property Maintenance Technician

Experienced Maintenance Technician Pierce CountyWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician in Pierce County to support the daily operations of our residential communities. This role is responsible for maintaining building systems, performing repairs, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, under the direction of the Property Manager. Respond to and complete maintenance service requests, work orders, and unit make-ready tasks Perform routine and minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and basic structural work Monitor, maintain, and inspect building systems and interior/exterior common areas Maintain property grounds, including trash removal and light landscaping duties Clean and upkeep interior common spaces as required Support special projects and coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Identify and promptly report safety concerns, incidents, or property issues Participate in on-call coverage and emergency maintenance response High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multifamily settings Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools across multiple trades Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Consistent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks Competitive hourly pay: $35-$40/hour Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays, sick time, and PTO Career growth opportunities and supportive leadershipTarga Real Estate Services is a locally owned, full-service property management company with more than 150 multifamily communities across Washington and Oregon.
