Apartment Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician - Tacoma/Stadium DistrictWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations of a residential community situated in the Stadium District of downtown Tacoma, WA. This role is responsible for maintaining property systems, completing repairs, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for residents under the direction of the Property Manager.Key responsibilities include:Complete maintenance service requests, work orders, and apartment make-readiesPerform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, and structural workMonitor and maintain building systems and common areasMaintain grounds, including trash removal and landscaping upkeepClean interior common spaces as neededAssist with special projects and vendor oversightReport safety hazards, incidents, or property issues promptlyParticipate in on-call and emergency maintenance rotationQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of maintenance experience or equivalentProficient with hand and power toolsAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPhysically able to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform repetitive tasksWhat we offer:Competitive hourly pay: $32$35 DOEMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays, sick time, and PTOCareer growth opportunities and supportive leadershipAbout Targa Real Estate Services:Targa Real Estate Services is a locally owned, full-service property management company with more than 150 multifamily communities across Washington and Oregon.
