Job Title - Sourcing Specialist – CapEx / Project ProcurementLocation - Onsite (Monday–Thursday) | Remote (Friday)Duration - Long-term contract (minimum 18 months)Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to support capital (CapEx) projects within a global engineering and procurement environment. This role will focus on sourcing engineered equipment and services, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost and supply efficiency across multiple projects.This is a hands-on role ideal for professionals with experience in project procurement within petrochemical, oil & gas, or EPC/EPCM environments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage sourcing activities for capital projects (CapEx) across multiple workstreamsNegotiate spot purchases and supplier contracts for engineered equipment and servicesSupport development and execution of sourcing strategies and commercial agreementsWork closely with Project Procurement Managers, Engineering, and SuppliersSource and manage engineered equipment (Mechanical / Electrical / Process Containment Equipment)Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to drive cost savings and value deliveryManage supplier relationships, including performance, quality, and delivery issuesEnsure compliance with procurement processes, policies, and documentation requirementsCoordinate with global teams, procurement operations, and payables to resolve issuesRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree required5+ years of experience in sourcing / procurement, preferably in CapEx or project procurementExperience in petrochemical, oil & gas, or EPC/EPCM environmentsStrong experience sourcing engineered equipment (mechanical/electrical)Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage suppliersStrong data analysis and commercial acumenProficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting large international capital projectsExposure to supplier performance management and contract lifecycle managementWhat We’re Looking ForStrong negotiator with a hands-on, execution-driven mindsetAbility to drive cost savings and improve supply reliabilityProactive problem-solver who can challenge inefficienciesTeam player with the ability to work across cultures and geographiesInterview ProcessInitial interview via Microsoft TeamsFinal onsite interview (if required)GTech is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
