Job Title: Print Operator / Mail Room ClerkLocation: Portland, OR 97204Job Type: Temp to Hire Shift: Overnight (12:00 AM - 9:00 AM)Pay Rate: $21/hrKey Responsibilities:• Operate high-volume printing, copying, and document imaging equipment • Bind and prepare printed materials using strapping machines • Refill printers with paper and supplies; monitor equipment performance • Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy of printed output • Troubleshoot minor printer issues (e.g., clearing paper jams) • Maintain logs, reports, and inventory of supplies • Sort, distribute, and manage incoming/outgoing mail and packages • Support shipping, receiving, and document handling tasks • Ensure work areas and equipment are clean, organized, and operational • Respond to service requests and coordinate with technical teams when needed Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED required • 1-2 years of experience in print, copy, mailroom, or related environment • Experience with high-volume printers or production equipment preferred • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, file handling) • Ability to follow detailed instructions and learn new processes quickly • Good organizational and time management skills Physical Requirements:• Ability to stand for extended periods • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 50-55 lbs) • Comfortable working with industrial print equipment • Ability to push/pull equipment when necessary Work Environment:• Office/production setting with standard lighting and temperature • Fast-paced, team-oriented overnight shift • Business casual dress code (closed-toe shoes required) • Parking provided at no cost Additional Details:• No driving required • Interview process: Phone + On-site • Opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
