Perform complete changeovers and achieve first piece inspections through executing required program edits / offsets. Accurately measure parts and complete associated quality documentation while ensuring production output is achieved. Operate other CNC Turning or Milling Machines when neededESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSRetrieve job related information: routing, drawing, program, inspection sheets, etc.Review raw material for dimensions, quantity, defects, maintain heat lot traceabilityPerform all change-over related activities through first piece inspection, edits-offsetsUtilize precision tools and gages to measure part features / dimensions and document results according to in-process quality inspection requirements and AQL sampling intervals.Detect and troubleshoot machining and programming issues as they occurOperate secondary equipment to finish and clean parts for subsequent operationsMaintain high level of awareness and attention to detail to achieve quality and production resultsUtilize PC or Laptop to record labor and production informationTrain other operators as needed on job related itemsFollows prescribed safety rules and procedures for all workPerform routine equipment maintenance and keep work area in a clean orderly condition.Provide end-of-shift report activities
