Senior Accounting Associate

CION Investment Group, LLC, is seeking a Senior Associate of Corporate Accounting with 3+ years of accounting or audit experience to support the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions of CION Investment Group, LLC and its subsidiaries.  This role will assist with the monthly close process, consolidation and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple prioritiesResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day accounting activities for CION Investment Group, LLC and its subsidiaries.Prepare monthly bank reconciliationsAssist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.Support the consolidation of financial results across entities.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related reporting requirements.Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, including preparation of supporting documentation.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments, external auditors, and joint venture partners.Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.3+ years of accounting or public audit experience.CPA preferred but not required.Strong Microsoft Excel skills.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
