If this sounds like the opportunity that you have been looking for, please apply.We are currently looking for a Resident Assistant for The Barclay House of Aiken.Primary Responsibilities Of The Resident Assistant:Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.Report changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks.Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.Job Requirements For A Resident Assistant:Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.High School Diploma/GED EquivalentCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless it is a state requirement.CPR/First Aid, preferred.Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.Experience working with older adults preferred.State background check and drug testing required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
