We are proud to maintain over 40 years with zero major accidents, reflecting our commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism.Position OverviewDade Electric Service is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare accurateand competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects throughout South Florida. The Electrical Estimator will analyze project plans and specifications, quantify materials and labor, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and support the companys bidding and project acquisition efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesReview electrical drawings, specifications, and bid documentsPrepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipmentPerform material takeoffs and quantity surveysSolicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotesPrepare competitive bid proposals and bid summariesCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and leadership during the biddingprocessIdentify value engineering opportunities and cost efficienciesMaintain accurate estimate documentation and bid recordsParticipate in pre-bid meetings and site visits when requiredSupport project handoff to the operations team after contract awardQualifications5+ years of electrical estimating experienceStrong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documentsExperience in preparing accurate material takeoffs and labor estimatesStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlinesExperience using Bluebeam, Accubid, or similar estimating softwareExperience with municipal infrastructure or wastewater treatment plant projectsFamiliarity with medium-voltage electrical systemsExperience bidding on commercial, institutional, or public sector projectsCompensation BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package and strong employee benefits, including:Company-paid healthcareCompany-paid Medicare taxesDental and vision coverage401(k) retirement planGas and travel reimbursementProfessional and stable work environmentLong-term career opportunities with an established South Florida contractor.
