POSITION SUMMARY
The Email & Social Media Marketing Specialist at KOA is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing email and SMS marketing strategies and supporting social content for KOA’s Owned Assets and a select portfolio of franchise locations. This role manages subscriber databases, creates engaging content, and analyzes campaign performance. The goal of this role is to effectively reach the target audience, promote the brand and the campground, and drive customer engagement and revenue through email, SMS, and social communication.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Work collaboratively with Local Marketing Managers and Creative Coordinator to support all email, SMS and social marketing campaigns; including planning, asset/copy collection, proof review, execution and deployment.
Assist in developing and executing campaign optimization strategies using A/B testing, segmentation strategies, and other methods.
Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide insights to Local Marketing team.
Work to continuously improve all metrics, including deliverability, opens, clicks, and revenue.
Coordinate the local email, SMS, and social campaign calendar and review process with consideration for other departments and stakeholders.
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions with the Marketing team to conceptualize new campaigns and strategies.
Regularly identify trends and email/push marketing strategies from other leading global brands to gain insights on best practices and new innovative ideas.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related field
2+ years of email and social marketing experience; including building and deploying campaigns, and experience with email/social automation platforms
Basic HTML knowledge required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros); experience with any other analytical tools such as Google Analytics a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, understanding timelines and delivering
Detail-oriented
Comfortable multitasking to ensure targets are met
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
Have a valid Driver’s License
