Operations Warehouse Specialist

Morphy Auctions is in need of a full time Operations Associate to add to our growing staff. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including daily organizing, packing, unpacking of inventory items in preparation for a live auction. Travel for shows, pick-ups, and deliveries required. Applicants must be detail-oriented, able to work independently and work within an inventory database system. Occasional weekends required. Primary responsibilities: Support all auction preparation and operation activities including but not limited to: Inventory items unloading, receiving and handling in warehouse and gallery Ability to travel for several days at a time while on customer pick ups Assist on consignor pickups and buyer deliveries, which will include scheduling, traveling, packing, loading, meeting with clients, obtaining documentation and following up with clients, driving including with trailers Order pulling and related customer service activities Shipping support Display setup Operating online bidding platforms Organizing the facilities, equipment, and physical records Skills/Requirements: Experience driving 26’ box truck and trailers CDL and/or Class A License a plus Ability to drive and travel up to 50% of time Positive attitude, pride in personal and work environment appearance Ability to work with people from varying backgrounds and positions within and outside the company Focus on following and improving processes - accuracy and attention to detail Computer fluency (Microsoft Office, data entry, general operation of PC, laptop, IPad) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Solid grammar, spelling and vocabulary and basic math skills Trainability, consistency, commitment to completing tasks, and a strong work ethic Morphy Auctions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free Workplace.
