This commitment to excellence is shared by every employee, driving optimal efficiency and maintaining the highest standards from production through delivery.Position Summary: As a Quality Technician at Vytron, you will play a key role in supporting Production Operations by identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues. Your work will ensure our products consistently meet specifications and exceed customer expectations. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while upholding the company's quality principles and purpose.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport quality improvement initiatives to prevent nonconformitiesReview specification changes and new product introductions for quality impactDocument data clearly to support issue resolution and decision-makingEnsure compliance with standards, regulations, and product specificationsDevelop and maintain accurate quality records and documentationCommunicate and help resolve issues with nonconforming materialsApply quality tools and assist in training team members as neededConduct product inspections and report findingsParticipate in internal audits and 5SCollaborate internally with other quality techs and productionPerform QA testing and processesRepresent the customer perspective in quality issue resolutionApply root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality concernsRequirementsSkills and Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in a production environment or a related college degreeAt least 1 year of Quality Assurance experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to read and understand blueprint (GDT experience a plus)Strong analytical skills and experience with quality and continuous improvement tools and structured problem-solving methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Voice of the Customer (VOC), Six Sigma, Lean principles, 5 Whys, or fish-bone diagrams.Comprehensive Benefits IncludeMedical, Dental, VisionShort & Long-Term DisabilityPaid Time Off401(k) with company match
