A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work in 36-bed Neurosciences unit on 6th floor A Tower • Day shift patient ratios: 5:1 standard, 6:1 stretch • Night shift patient ratios: 6:1 standard, 7:1 stretch • Work every other weekend • Use standard medical surgical equipment • Work with Cerner EMR system • Must have outgoing, self-motivated personality • Required certifications: ACLS, NIH • Neuroscience experience preferred • Perform typical procedures including Foley insertion and IV starts • May float to other medical surgical floors as needed • Navy blue scrubs required • New staff reference book provided at contract start Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center with specialized neurosciences services.
