Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering. Required Qualifications: Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.Key Requirements: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Strong experience in Java (Java 17/21 preferred) and object-oriented design principles. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST API development. Experience designing and developing Microservices-based architectures. Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka for event-driven and asynchronous processing. Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database design. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift (OCP) deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker. Understanding of cloud-native application development and DevOps practices. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS). Strong debugging, performance tuning, and production support skills Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Preferred Skills Experience with AI/Generative AI solutions, including:○ Integration with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Copilot, etc.)○ AI-powered application development and automation○ Prompt engineering and AI-assisted software development Familiarity with vector databases, RAG architectures, and AI agent frameworks.
