As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will staff access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vehicle entry, and support a smooth flow of people and deliveries. You will stay visible, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with teams on site to help to deter incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, built on integrity, teamwork, and a caring culture.Position Type: FlexPay Rate: $15.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying credentials, processing sign-in and/or sign-out, issuing temporary badges when directed, and directing traffic flow to designated areas.Monitor inbound and outbound activity including trailers, packages, and vehicles for irregularities, and report concerns per post orders.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, and perimeter, and complete patrol logs and daily activity reports per site requirements.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
