We offer an opportunity for you to learn and grow while making significant contributions to the company's success.SystImmune is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee Accounts Payable, treasury, payroll, and operational accounting activities. This role owns all cash-related and transactional processes, ensuring timely execution, strong internal controls, and compliance with GAAP and company policies. The Accounting Manager partners closely with Procurement, HR, FP&A, and the broader Accounting team to support efficient procure-to-pay operations, safeguard company cash, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Prior biopharma or biotech experience is required. Fluency in Chinese and English is required. This position is full-time onsite at our Redmond, WA location.ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable & Disbursements Oversee and manage the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and other disbursementsReview and approve AP transactions, payment runs, and vendor setup and registrationEnsure compliance with internal controls, approval matrices, and company policiesCoordinate closely with Procurement to align purchasing activity, payment terms, and contract complianceResolve complex invoice discrepancies and serve as escalation point for AP issuesTreasury & Cash Management Manage cash disbursements including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and international paymentsLead treasury operations, including daily cash reporting and cash flow forecastingMonitor bank accounts, perform and review bank reconciliations, and investigate discrepanciesManage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including account maintenance, signatory updates, and fee reviewsOversee intercompany payments, funding, and settlement processes with proper documentation and timely executionPayroll Oversight Oversee payroll processing and related controls to ensure timely and accurate employee paymentsPartner with HR and payroll providers to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policiesClose, Compliance & Audit Support month-end and year-end close related to AP and treasury, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and cash-related journal entriesEnsure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements, audit standards, and financial policiesAssist with internal and external audit requests related to AP, cash, treasury, and payrollProcess Improvement & Team Leadership Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls across AP and treasuryMaintain and improve standard operating procedures for AP, treasury, and payrollManage, mentor, and develop AP staff, providing oversight, feedback, and prioritizationRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field6+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of AP and treasury functionsPrior experience in biotech, biopharma, pharmaceutical, or life sciences requiredStrong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirementsExperience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferredAbility to operate in a fast-paced, growth-stage environmentFluency in English and Chinese, Mandarin is requiredPreferredCPA or CPA-trackExperience with international vendors, cross-border payments, and intercompany transactionWhy Join SystImmune High-impact role safeguarding cash and scaling financial operationsExposure to complex, R&D-driven spend in a clinical-stage biotechCollaborative environment with visibility and ownershipCompensation and Benefits:The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills.SystImmune is a leading and well-funded biotech company with a bright future.
