This role is ideal for someone with strong operational accounting experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving processes, supporting audits, and contributing to system implementations and ERP transitions.The ideal candidate will bring deep general ledger and accounts payable expertise, experience working in Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP), fixed asset accounting knowledge, and a proven ability to support financial audits and ERP system migrations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operational accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial analyses Oversee full-cycle accounts payable processing and vendor management Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules, depreciation, additions, and disposals Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements Partner with internal departments to improve accounting workflows and internal controls Assist with annual external audits and respond to auditor requests in a timely manner Participate in ERP implementation, migration, and optimization initiatives Support data validation, testing, reconciliation, and process documentation during system transitions Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and GAAP standards Identify opportunities for process improvements and automationAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
