Duties
Prepare and cook menu items with efficiency, consistency, and attention to detail
Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure quality standards are met
Assist in food plating and presentation to create visually appealing dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Support kitchen staff during busy service periods by managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and sanitation procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, preferably with fine dining experience
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience working in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus
Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving in a food service environment
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced kitchen
Prior kitchen experience within the food industry or culinary field is highly desirable
