Senior Accountant

This is a high-impact role working closely with the CFO and cross-functional leaders to support financial operations, reporting, and business decision-making.This position is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys both structure and variety — someone who wants to contribute to core accounting functions while also influencing areas like product costing, financial planning, systems, and operational efficiency.Major Work DutiesEssential Job FunctionsCore Accounting & Financial ReportingLead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsMaintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial dataOversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functionsAssist with internal and external audit processesManufacturing & Operational AccountingSupport product costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysisAssist in evaluating production performance through financial dataPartner with operations to improve cost visibility and reportingFinancial Analysis & Business SupportParticipate in FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelingAssist with sales pricing analysis and margin reviewSupport purchasing and vendor financial analysisSystems & Process ImprovementHelp optimize ERP/MRP system usage and reporting capabilitiesIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracySupport accounting-related IT and system initiativesSupervisory Responsibility2 direct reportsWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and proper PPE is required.
