Manager, Financial Reporting (Cleveland)

The Manager of Financial Reporting is responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial statements, while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. This role plays a key part in the monthly and quarterly close process and works closely with internal teams and external auditors.Responsibilities:Managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsOverseeing the close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reportingReviewing account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedulesEnsuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policiesCoordinating with external auditors and supporting audit requirementsPreparing and reviewing financial disclosures and supporting documentationResearching and documenting technical accounting matters as neededSupporting the implementation of new accounting standardsPartnering with FP&A and other departments to align reporting and analysisIdentifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and internal controlsQualifications & Skills:5+ years of experience in financial reporting or accountingPrior experience with month-end close and financial statement preparationStrong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting conceptsPublic accounting experience preferredCPA strongly preferred (or in progress)Experience working with auditors and supporting auditsStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesEffective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
