Part Time Billing Coordinator
Job Summary
The Billing Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the billing processes within our organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of financial concepts, enabling them to effectively handle accounts receivable and account reconciliation tasks.
MUST HAVE: Must have experience using CareVoyant as it pertains to Home Care Billing, there will be a skills test.
Duties
Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions and ensure data integrity.
Perform account reconciliation to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Utilize double entry bookkeeping methods to maintain comprehensive financial records.
Process payments and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
Assist in the coding of financial transactions for accurate reporting.
Collaborate with other departments to address billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Skills
Proficiency in data entry with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
Familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient processing of numerical data.
Understanding of financial services and concepts related to billing and invoicing.
Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations related to billing processes.
Experience with account reconciliation techniques to ensure financial accuracy.
Knowledge of coding practices relevant to financial transactions is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
