We want to hear from you!We are currently looking for a Volunteer Donations Outreach Coordinator to join our team at Chester's Corner Animal Rescue.About Us:Chester's Corner Rescue Foundation is a dedicated nonprofit organization specializing in animal rescue and rehabilitation. Our mission is to provide abandoned animals with medical care, emotional support, and a path toward loving, permanent homes. Every effort we make is driven by compassion and a commitment to the welfare of animals in need.How You Will Contribute:Purpose:Generates and manages donation outreach efforts, helping Chester's Corner secure resources and maintain strong connections with supporters.Responsibilities:Identify potential donors, sponsorships, and funding opportunitiesCoordinate outreach communications to potential donorsTrack outreach efforts and report back progress to leadershipMaintain professional relationships with donors and supportersImmediate Ownership:This role owns the outreach process for donations, managing connections and initial communications. Leadership sets goals and approves major initiatives, but you manage the execution independently.Required Qualifications:1–2 years of prior experience in donor outreach, fundraising, or similar nonprofit workStrong professional communication skills (email, phone, and written correspondence)Highly self-motivated and able to work independentlyComfortable managing confidential informationMust reside in San Jose or the immediate surrounding areaMust have a working computer with reliable internetCommitment Details:Approximately 1–3 hours per weekFlexible schedulingHybrid role: work is a combination of remote communications and in-person participation at local eventsHow to Apply:Please send an email to volunteer@chesterscorner.org with your resume and a short introduction of yourself and why you are interested in volunteering with Chester's Corner Animal Rescue.
