CNC MachinistVolt is immediately hiring for CNC Machinist in Bloomington, Illinois.As a CNC Machinist you will:Set up and operate CNC horizontal and vertical lathes and machining centers to produce high-quality precision partsCreate and modify machine programs to optimize performance and efficiencyRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machiningSelect, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and materials for a variety of machines, including mills, lathes, and grindersInspect finished components to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environmentThis is a Full time/Temp to hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:23 years of CNC machining experience or related manufacturing backgroundProven ability to perform complex machine setups and independently produce high-quality prototype partsExperience working with multiple machine controllers and making program edits (with supervisor approval)Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and using data to maintain consistent, high-quality outputWorking knowledge of common "1E" specifications and industry quality standardsPay Rate: $25.00-$27.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
