Job Full Description1st Shift CNC Set Up TechnicianStart or Grow you Career in CNC!! Our client, a growing manufacturer in Rockford, is looking for a CNC Operator to join their team. If you have machine operating experience and you are wanting to build a long-term career in machining this is the company for you! This company is ready to train motivated individuals to become CNC Set-Up Technicians. Hours are Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM (with a paid lunch), OT potential once hired on. Pay starts at $16/hour for entry-level candidates or up to $24/hour for experienced candidates. If you have any questions or interest in this position give our office a call at 815-708-0991 or email us at Job Responsibilities: Assist in the setup and operation of CNC machines including mills and lathes.Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into machines.Learn to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.Perform basic measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Monitor machine performance and report any issues to supervisors.Deburr, clean, and inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.Support senior machinists with tooling changes and machine adjustments.Job Qualifications: High school diploma or GED requiredTechnical school or machining coursework preferred (not required)Basic math skills and mechanical aptitudeAbility to read a ruler and understand measurementsStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnAbility to work in a team-oriented environment*This position is dependent on a background check and drug screen. *B177Rockford, IL 3131 2477 Eastrock Drive Rockford, IL 61108
