Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.1. Develop, maintain and cultivate client and agent relationships.2. Solicit, market, quote, bind, and confirm new and existing business.3. Negotiate the best terms and coverages available with accessible markets.4. Ensure submissions reflect accurate data such as risks and coverages.5. Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with the firm's policies and procedures.6. Assist broker to meet or exceed production goals as assigned by CRC.7. Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry and sales ideas through regular attendance at workshops, seminars, literature reviews and/or formal continuing education.8. Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation2. Three years of experience of wholesale insurance experience or its equivalent3. Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance4. Must be able to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies5. Ability to understand the client's needs and have knowledge of the risk profiles associated6. Ability to review information, make decisions and manage time effectively7. Recognize new trends and developments in the insurance industry and be able to incorporate that into your strategy8. Ability to develop, foster, and maintain an excellent working relationship with agencies9. Leadership and team playing skills10. Must possess and maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry11. Excellent written and verbal skills12. Ability to work extended hours when necessary13. Maintain travel schedule depending on the needs of clients, Agents, and new businessThe annual base salary for this position is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00.
