As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software capabilities for computer-based systems. Will work closely with other talented engineers to create software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with modern tools and technologies, and you will be encouraged to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. The work environment at Enlighten is a hybrid one, with a mix of remote and in-person work, but being flexible is key. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Can also consider candidates with a TS Level security clearance.ExperienceNine (9) years experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) Bachelors in related field; seven (7) years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and thirteen (13) years relevant experience.Required SkillsExperience in designing enterprise APIsExperience in RESTful web servicesExperience in Microservices architectureExperience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigmsExperience with the agile software lifecycleHas a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team settingExperience with the Linux operating systemExperience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven)Must be able to obtain DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (i.e. Security+)Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Greenville, SC office.
