About Project Homeless Connect (PHC): Project Homeless Connect is a legacy nonprofit dedicated to connecting San Franciscans experiencing homelessness with the care and resources they need to move forward. Through our Community Day of Service events and Everyday Connect (EDC) programs, we serve over 8,000 individuals annually offering dignity, compassion, and direct access to essential services.Position OverviewPHC is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our dynamic EDC Services Team. This role is ideal for someone who is client-centered, adaptable, and passionate about social justice. The Service Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating services, building relationships with community partners, and supporting participants through both on-site and off-site programming.You'll work closely with the EDC Manager and fellow team members to ensure high-quality service delivery, while also helping shape program improvements that increase impact and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Coordination & Direct ServiceServe as lead coordinator for Drop-In and Off-Site service daysProvide trauma-informed, dignified support to participantsConnect individuals to housing, health, and social servicesMaintain accurate documentation in SalesforceSupport participants in accessing financial assistance through the Community PartnerCollaborate on behavior plans and crisis intervention strategiesParticipate in outreach walksPartner & Community EngagementBuild and maintain relationships with service partnersCoordinate logistics for weekly/monthly service access points and Community DaysRepresent PHC at community events and networking opportunitiesSupport fundraising and outreach efforts for service programsAdministrative & Agency SupportAttend staff meetings, trainings, and retreatsSubmit monthly reports and maintain desk manualsRespond to inquiries via PHC's Resource LineAssist with volunteer coordination and special eventsContribute to a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work cultureQualificationsExperience working with unhoused or marginalized populationsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge of harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewingHighly organized and able to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable in fast-paced, time-sensitive environmentsProficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Google DocsBilingual in English and Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin (strongly preferred)Valid driver's license requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and navigate stairsComfortable sitting, standing, and typing for extended periodsVisual acuity for data entry and documentationPHC is an equal opportunity employer and actively seeks to recruit a diverse workforce.
