Boys' Varsity Head Basketball Coach Lowell High School Athletics is accepting applications for the position of Head Varsity Boys' Basketball Coach. We are seeking a coach committed to developing athletes while building a program defined by the pursuit of excellence on the court and as leaders in the classroom and community. The ideal candidate is driven to build a basketball program that others strive to match.Key Characteristics -Believes in developing leaders and creating meaningful, memorable high school athletic experiencesTrains to win and is driven to build teams that consistently perform at a high level with the goal of postseason successPossesses a clear vision for program alignment from youth through varsity, and the ability to build strong relationships with coaches and the community to support that visionCommitted to year-round athlete development through collaboration with strength and conditioning staffLeads with purpose, accountability, and high expectationsCommunicates effectively with athletes, families, staff, and administrationResponsibilities -Lead all aspects of the Lowell boys basketball programEstablish and implement a clear program philosophy, style of play, and standardsDevelop and mentor assistant coaches to ensure program-wide alignmentSupport the academic and personal development of all student-athletesEnsure compliance with Indiana High School Athletic Association rules and school expectationsBuild and maintain positive relationships with youth programs and the broader Lowell communityQualifications -Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level preferredDemonstrated ability to build and sustain a competitive programStrong leadership, organization, and communication skillsOpen to all applicants, full-time employment in the school district is not required.Compensation - In accordance with the TCTO Contract ECA scheduleTeaching positions may be available and would be discussed during the interview process.At Lowell High School, athletics are a source of pride and tradition.
