Apply via Dice today!We are looking for QA Automation - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Austin, TXJob Title: QA Automation - Remote / TelecommuteJob Location: Austin, TXJob Type: ContractJob Overview:Perform testing of enterprise applications with a focus on quality assurance and automation.Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.Conduct API testing using REST-based services and automation frameworks.Test cloud-based applications and services to ensure performance and reliability.Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Identify, log, and track defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution.Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices.Experience:Minimum of 8 years of experience in testing enterprise applications.At least 3 years of hands-on experience testing cloud-based services.Experience with API testing and automation frameworks.Responsibilities:Design and execute manual and automated test cases.Validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.Maintain test documentation and defect tracking.Should Have:Strong experience with QA processes and defect management.Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Skills:Proficiency in Selenium and Cucumber for automation testing.Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and automation frameworks.Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.Experience with Python scripting for test automation.Qualification And Education:Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
