QE Automation Engineer

Role: QE Automation EngineerLocation: Austin, TX (Onsite)Type: ContractJob description :Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web/mobile/API applicationsExecute automated and manual test cases and analyze resultsCollaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirementsIdentify, log, and track defects using defect management toolsParticipate in test planning, test case design, and test executionIntegrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelinesPerform regression, smoke, and sanity testingContinuously improve test coverage and automation frameworksEnsure adherence to quality standards and best practicesRequired Skills: Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologiesExperience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium , etc.Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)Experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)Knowledge of version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, etc.)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
