Landscaping Construction Crew Foreman

Job Description Job Summary:We're seeking an experienced and dependable Landscape Construction & Installation Crew Foreman to lead crews on commercial and high-end residential projects in the Modesto area.In this role, you'll supervise and work alongside a crew to ensure landscape installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in irrigation, planting, grading, hardscaping, and equipment operation, along with strong leadership and communication skills.If you're a working foreman who takes pride in craftsmanship and team leadership, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Lead and manage a crew of landscape installers on construction and installation projectsOversee daily jobsite operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality controlInstall and troubleshoot irrigation systems (piping, valves, controllers, sprinkler heads)Execute hardscape and softscape installations, including:Grading and soil prepPlanting trees, shrubs, and ground coverInstalling bark, mulch, and rockOperate and maintain equipment including Bobcats, trenchers, and mini excavatorsRead and interpret landscape plans and ensure proper implementationMaintain accurate records of materials, labor, and job progressCoordinate with project managers and clients as neededTrain crew members and enforce company policies and safety proceduresQualifications:Minimum 2–3 years of experience in landscape construction and installationPrior experience leading a crew is requiredStrong knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape construction methodsAbility to read landscape plans and layout projects accordinglySkilled in operating small equipment (Bobcat, mini excavator, trencher)Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferredStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skillsAble to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasksBenefits:401(k)Paid Time OffOpportunities for advancement*Benefits available to full-time employees after applicable waiting periodWork Hours:Crews work four 10-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday), with optional Friday overtime when available.If you're ready to take the next step in your landscaping career and lead a dedicated team on rewarding projects, apply today!EEO: This company is an Employment Equity/Affirmative Action employer.
