Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Inventory Management PositionThis position will maintain an accurate inventory of parts at the designated locations and will be responsible for moving inventory to and from the receiving docks, expediting when appropriate. What You Will Do: Maintain a safe work environment; adhere to safety policies, procedures and processes. Operates forklift, walkie rider, and other material handling equipment to move parts to point of use on production floor. Expedite parts when needed. Set up material storage racks, bins, carts, etc. for proper storage online to prevent damage or loss. Create and maintain bins and drop areas for part deliveries and removal. Support assembly technicians in lifting and moving of materials on production floor. Accurately count parts and cycle count parts when directed. File rejected parts on a daily basis. Move and empty trash containers into appropriate hoppers. Recording part shortage information in appropriate areas and leadership. Receives work direction from department leader.
