Residential Cleaner/ Janitorial Duties

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a non-profit organizations space. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an ability to work independently. The House Cleaner will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas are spotless, providing a welcoming environment for clients. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and kitchens. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Execute floor care duties such as buffing and polishing to maintain the appearance of various surfaces. Assist with custodial tasks including waste disposal and replenishing supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Skills Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and maintain various surfaces effectively. Experience in commercial cleaning environments is preferred. Familiarity with custodial practices and procedures. Knowledge of porter duties, including managing supplies and maintaining cleanliness in facilities. Basic skills in facilities maintenance to assist with minor repairs or upkeep as needed. Experience in residential painting is a plus for maintaining aesthetic appeal in homes.
