Engine Assembler

Job Location: Santa Ana, CA Job Qualifications: High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. 5 years’ + experience in engine build environment is a MUST Hands on engine, head, and sub-assembly build experience Understanding of an ICE compression ratio calculation. Strong detail-oriented build process and documentation Experience in Serdi/ Newen operation type cylinder head machines used for cutting valve seats. Strong mechanical skills and ability to proficiently use all build related tools. Experience in Racing Engines is desired Basic written communication skills and ability to read and write basic English. Proficient in MS Office products – Excel and Word Job Responsibilities: Preparation (build) of production cylinder heads, fitted to race engines Review of related engine specifications, accurate measurement of parts Assembly of engine cylinder heads to a specification defined Operation of Newen and Sunnen style cylinder head machines. Detailed and accurate documentation of build information, serial numbers and measurement values.
