Contacts parents to remind them of ARD meetings and completes ARD/IEP paperwork as directed by professional staff. Files ARD/IEP paperwork as directed by professional staff. Copies and disseminates ARD/IEP paperwork to parents and other staff as directed. Creates reports and/or prepare data records as needed. Provides general clerical assistance to professional staff at Special Services as needed. Work under general supervision of Director of Special Education and immediate direction of Assistant Director and professional staff.Qualifications:Education/Certification:High school diploma or equivalentSpecial Knowledge/Skills:* Ability to use computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and doword processing.* Proficient keyboarding, file maintenance* Ability to meet established deadlinesExperience:* Prior experience working with special education data preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties:1. Prepare and disseminate ARD/IEP notices as directed.2. Copy and disseminate paperwork as directed.3. Assist professional staff in coordinating and scheduling of ARD/IEP meetings.4. Keep all records of all students in the Special Education Program.5. Make copies of ARDs, IEPs, schedules and ARD notices.6. Prepare, type and disseminate data for special education as needed.7. Coordinate records between campuses and Special Services.8. Assist with filing special education paperwork.9. To regularly update and maintain legal audit folders.Other1. Maintain confidentiality.2.
