This position supports early learners during one of the most critical stages of their academic and social development. REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Classroom Teachers SALARY RANGE & CATEGORY: $16.79/hour (depending on experience) on Classified Hourly Salary Schedule FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt WORK CALENDAR: 165 days FTE: 1.0 Full-time with benefits; 4-day school week (Tuesday - Friday) POSITION SUMMARY: The K 2 Teacher Assistant supports classroom instruction by working directly with students and assisting the classroom teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. This position plays a key role in supporting early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.
