Job Description1. Client & Market Development Assist senior team members in researching prospective and existing clients. Help prepare pitch decks, client materials, and support analyses used in business development. Contribute to initial transaction reviews and assessments. 2. Business Development Support Support ad-hoc initiatives and workstreams related to market outreach, internal strategy, or client engagement. 3. Transaction Execution Assist with due diligence reviews and help coordinate with external advisors and consultants. Review, update, and build financial models for various project finance structures; conduct sensitivity analyses, scenario testing, and forecasting. Draft materials for internal credit submissions and rating applications. Support Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, ensuring compliance with internal standards. Manage required internal systems, including credit and monitoring platforms. 4. Portfolio & Post-Close Management Conduct periodic reviews of assigned portfolio assets, including credit updates, covenant checks, performance reviews, and issue identification. Prepare regular KYC updates and ensure documentation accuracy. Analyze and recommend actions on waivers, amendments, and consents. Provide recurring portfolio reporting to senior management. Maintain organized files and ensure required documents are uploaded to relevant systems. 5. Internal Risk & Compliance Responsibilities Support miscellaneous internal workstreams as assigned. Act as a first-line risk owner by identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks within daily responsibilities. Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and controls. The Successful ApplicantEducation Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering, law, or a related field required. Advanced degree or formal project finance/legal coursework preferred. Experience 2-3 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, renewable energy finance, or a related specialty within a bank or financial institution. Formal credit training is required. Strong analytical abilities, familiarity with due diligence processes, and comfort working with financial models.
