Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years of Open Heart ICU experience with ventilator management required. License: Current, valid nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start). Must-Have: Experience with Swans, IABP, Impella, Hemodynamics, and post-heart recovery. Must have EPIC experience. Candidates must be nicotine-free. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care. Candidates should have 1-2 years of relevant experience, particularly in Open Heart ICU settings. Ventilator management experience is essential. The role requires the ability to float to multiple facilities within a specified radius if needed. Candidates will be expected to prioritize time-sensitive modules once the assignment is confirmed. All requests for time off must be included upfront, as late requests may not be approved. The facility mandates a smoke-free environment, requiring all travelers to be nicotine-free, with no exceptions. A negative 10 panel drug screen, including nicotine testing, is required. EKG and pharmacy tests will be administered during orientation, with two attempts allowed for each; failing both will result in cancellation of the assignment.
