Director of Operations

The Director of Operations leads Maintenance, Bio-Med, Security, and oversees the Safety/Emergency Management for the facility to ensure the local codes and laws are met. Must have a thorough knowledge of the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code. Performs duties that maintain the mechanical integrity of the facility as well as the duties of each department. Assures a safe environment for the patients, visitors and staff. Lead and/or provides oversight of the Safety Committee and Emergency Management Committee. The Director of Operations is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.Education:* High school diploma required. Higher degree strongly preferred.Experience:Minimum of two (2) years' experience with project coordination, management experience, or equivalent required.Minimum of five (5) years' experience with Environment of Care as well as Hospital Safety preferred.Required Licensure/Certification(s): Valid driver's license and eligibility to be insured under RMCHCS vehicle liability policy is required.Forklift training certificate required or within one year of hire.
