Data Quality & Governance DirectorWe are seeking a Data Quality & Governance Director to lead the transformation of our Salesforce (SFDC) data ecosystem. This leader will own the strategy and execution for building accurate, scalable account hierarchies and high-quality contact data across a global footprint.Reporting to the VP of GTM Operations, this is a highly visible role with direct engagement with Sales and GTM leadership. You will combine AI-driven automation, enrichment strategies, and a hybrid onshore/offshore delivery model to enable critical initiatives such as territory carving, segmentation, forecasting, and AI adoption. You will lead a hybrid team consisting of 23 direct reports (data analysts / program managers) and 68 offshore contractors focused on data cleansing and enrichment.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President, GTM Operations.ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end strategy for SFDC data quality, including account hierarchies, contacts, and deduplicationLead large-scale cleanup and reconstruction of global account hierarchiesDefine and enforce scalable standards for global parent-child relationships and account structuresDeploy AI agents and automation workflows to scale data cleansing, matching, and enrichmentBuild intelligent data pipelines to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracyEvaluate and implement emerging technologies to continuously enhance data operationsLead complex, cross-functional data programs with clear KPIs, milestones, and executive visibilityManage offshore teams and vendors to deliver high-volume, high-quality data improvementsEstablish SLAs, QA processes, and performance tracking frameworksOwn enrichment strategy leveraging providers such as Dun & Bradstreet, ZoomInfo, and HG InsightsImprove firmographic and technographic coverage to support segmentation and targetingManage vendor relationships and data quality benchmarksPartner with Sales, RevOps, Marketing Ops, and Finance to align on data definitions and hierarchy logicEnsure data readiness for territory carving, account segmentation, and GTM planningAct as a trusted advisor to GTM leadership on data governance best practicesEstablish and enforce data governance policies, ownership models, and standardsBuild scalable processes to ensure clean data creation at the point of entryMonitor data health and drive continuous improvementImprove global account hierarchy accuracy from 85% to 99%, enabling precise account ownership and territory designIncrease contact coverage across priority segments by 50%, driving improved pipeline generation and engagementReduce duplicate rates by 25%, improving data trust and operational efficiencyEnable scalable AI and automation use cases across GTM (e.g., lead routing, scoring, enrichment), powered by clean, structured dataImprove territory balance and pipeline coverage through high-quality, standardized account and contact dataRedesign Public Sector hierarchy in alignment with Sales leadersJob DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What You BringBasic:12+ years of experience in data quality, governance, or data operations in a SaaS or high-growth tech environmentExperience with Salesforce (SFDC), including account hierarchies and contact modelsExperience with SaaS GTM models, global account structures, and enterprise customer hierarchiesExperience leading large-scale data cleanup or transformation initiativesExperience with SQLExperience with Python for data processing and automationExperience with Alteryx or similar data preparation toolsExperience leveraging enrichment platforms such as Dun & Bradstreet, ZoomInfo, and HG InsightsExperience with firmographic and technographic datasetsExperience managing both direct reports and offshore teamsExperience with program management and stakeholder alignment skillsPreferred:Excellent communication with the ability to influence senior leadershipExperience in RevOps, Sales Operations, or GTM systemsBackground in global data governance frameworks and MDMFamiliarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)Familiarity with AI/ML-driven data quality or automation solutionsWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $177,900.00 - $287,425.00 base salaryIllinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $170,900.00 - $241,400.00 base salaryWashington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $170,900.00 - $251,325.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for the following:Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
