Overview As a Program/BOM Engineer at Lear, you will lead program management for new launches and ongoing maintenance, coordinating engineering changes across JIT plants. You’ll build and audit BOMs in ERP, Ujigami, and SAP, and communicate changes to CKD customers. Your work ensures accurate configuration management and cross-system consistency, enabling smooth production and delivery. You’ll collaborate with multiple functions to drive efficient manufacturing and continuous improvement. ResponsibilitiesManage full program management for new launches and ongoing maintenanceReview BOMs from central team and oversee engineering change controlCreate/build BOMs in ERP and Ujigami; submit in Access and build in SAPMaintain BOMs monthly across ERP, Ujigami and Access; perform auditsLeverage MS Excel for BOM comparisons and data analysisCreate engineering change notices and communicate to CKD customersCoordinate upcoming part/engineering changes with JIT plants Key requirementsKnowledge of raw materials, production processes and efficiency techniquesFamiliarity with automotive plant functions (maintenance, quality, production control, safety, operations, materials)Knowledge of PLM, just-in-time and self-directed teamsKnowledge of Lear's rules, procedures, and practicesUnderstanding of environmental and regulatory compliance requirementsAbility to build teams, foster trust, and manage resistance to changeAbility to multi-task and prioritize effectivelyStrong communication across levels within the organization and with customers/vendorsCommunication at all levelsTeam building and collaborationAdaptability to changeMS Excel advanced useERP systems experienceUjigami knowledge
