Job Title: Full stack Engineer Job Type: Contract 6-9 months Location: Atlanta, GA Workplace Type: Hybrid 4 days onsite (Monday- Friday) Workplace Schedule: 9/9:30am - 4/4:30pm Overview We are seeking mid-to-senior level Full Stack Engineers to support the modernization of a legacy internal platform used by underwriting and account management teams. This is a high-impact initiative focused on rebuilding a contract management system from the ground up, transitioning from legacy architecture to a modern, scalable stack. This team is looking for engineers with an AI-first mindset who are excited to leverage tools like Cursor, Claude, and other AI-assisted development technologies to improve productivity and code quality. What You'll DoRebuild and modernize a legacy internal application into a scalable, cloud-based platformDevelop full stack features with a balanced focus on frontend and backend (~50/50)Translate existing business logic from legacy systems into modern architectureBuild responsive UI components and complex forms using AngularDesign and develop backend services and APIs using Java Spring BootCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and improve system functionalityLeverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and enhance workflows Required Skills & Experience AI & Development ApproachExperience or strong interest in AI-assisted software developmentFamiliarity with tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar FrontendStrong experience with AngularReact experience is acceptable if able to ramp quickly into Angular BackendExperience with Java Spring Boot, including:REST API developmentMicroservices architectureDependency injection DatabaseStrong SQL skills, including:Complex queries and joinsStored proceduresRelational database design CloudExperience with AWS (preferred), including services such as:EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch Nice to HaveExperience with legacy system modernization or migration projectsBackground in insurance or financial services What We're Looking ForDriven, adaptable engineers with a strong learning mindsetProblem-solvers who can navigate legacy systems and rebuild improved solutionsCandidates with recent, hands-on experience in modernization or platform rebuildsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
