Prototype Technician

About the RoleWork4ce Inc. is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Prototype Technician. The primary responsibility of this role is the management, usage, and support of the equipment inside a 3D design lab for automotive manufacturing. This includes: preparation of daily team plans / job tracking, providing technician coaching, fostering good communications and problem-solving, ensure team safety, and standardized work adherence, as well as supporting daily lab activities. Reporting to the Lab Manager, the person in this role will be responsible for sustaining the lab environment.ResponsibilitiesCreate and complete work orders.Identify time, material, and machine for project completion.Constant learning of new technologies and tools.Part fabrication and tooling using different technologies.Preventive maintenance plans for Lab equipment.Ensure 5s sustainment inside lab.Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays.Lead effective written and verbal communication with team members, management, and outside groups regarding issues that require resolution.QualificationsExperience with 3D modelling softwareCNC experience a plusExperience working in a lab settingSome experience in the automotive sectorPay range and compensation package$20-24/hr + benefits and 401K
