A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • 4 positions available • Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time schedule with every other weekend requirement • No on-call requirements • Nurse to patient ratio: 5:1-6:1 depending on staffing • Epic experience required • 1-2 years of nursing experience required • Minimum 6 months of telemetry experience required • BLS certification from AHA required • ACLS certification from AHA required • RN license in state of employment or compact required • Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a step-down unit) • Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects • Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education • All newly hired RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days • Precepted by designated trained staff member during on-boarding • Complete annual competency verification requirements • Temporary to permanent opportunity available Facility: This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive health system that provides cardiac and telemetry care services.
