Associate Project Manager

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Project Coordinator for a position with a Global Life Sciences Company located in Eugene, OR. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This role supports the Project Management Organization (PMO) and Customs team in a customer-facing capacity within the life sciences industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting project quotes, tracking systems, coordinating invoicing, and providing customer and project updates, utilizing a strong understanding of biological technologies and units of measure. Responsibilities: Support the PMO/Customs team by drafting custom project quotes Update the project tracking system and coordinate invoicing Provide customer and commercial project updates Match up packaging configurations and fill volumes based on customer orders in units like milligrams, vials, and kilograms Utilize a working knowledge of standard biological technologies and units of measure (buffer formulation, cell biology, chemistry) Work with Excel for data management, manipulation, and reporting Operate within various database systems Requirements: B.S. or B.A. in Biology, Chemistry, or other life sciences program 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within the life sciences industry Willingness to consider a recent college graduate with a relevant life science background Familiarity with standard and metric weight and volume units Strong skills in written and verbal communications, interpersonal team-based interaction, and organizational detail Proficiency with Excel and comfortable working in various database systems Analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities Pay range: up to $32.00 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
