Locum Tenens OB/GYN Opportunity (Inpatient + Call) A well-established community hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive inpatient setting with consistent volume and strong clinical support. Assignment Details Start Date: Late May 2026Ongoing Coverage NeededSchedule Includes:Orientation shift24-hour call coverage (in-house)Multiple assignment blocks available Practice Setting Inpatient only (Labor & Delivery)Combination of scheduled clinical care + callEMR: Athena & CernerAverage Volume: 4 5 patients per day deliveries annuallyDepartment Size: 15 beds Call Details 24-hour in-house callAverage of 8 calls per day ( 55/week)Must:Respond within 10 minutesBe onsite within 30 minutes for emergenciesPatients must be seen:As clinically indicatedWithin 12 hours of admission ️ Clinical Responsibilities Full-scope OB/GYN including:Low & high-risk pregnanciesRoutine & complicated deliveriesC-sections and surgical gynecologyOB ultrasounds (Level I & II)Emergency OB proceduresMinor and major gynecologic procedures Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYNActive state license required (no IMLC)Comfortable working with:Family Medicine residentsMedical studentsMust be able to manage both assigned and unassigned patients Support Staff 6 8 RNs per dayTeaching environment with resident support ️ Credentialing Estimated 60 daysTemporary privileges not available ️ Travel & Lodging Travel and lodging providedNearby regional airport accessHotel recommendations available Additional Notes Stroke-certified facilityConscious sedation privileges available (training provided if needed)Open to multiple providers for ongoing coverage
